Advanced Settings

Here are some advanced settings that could be changed in our application to suit your needs. To modify the settings please open the piclens_settings.php with any text editor. The piclens_settings.php could be found in the ZIP file that you downloaded.

• Your Logo on Cooliris Piclens:
  $site_logo_url = "http://www.your-site.com/your_logo.gif";

  The logo will appear in the upper left of Cooliris PicLens. You may use the following format: *.PNG, *.JPG, or *.GIF, and the logo image must be a 26-pixel high image.

• Play Background Music:
  $bg_music_url = "http://www.your-site.com/music_name.mp3";

  You can play background music when Cooliris PicLens launched if you want. Music file support MP3 file format only. Please upload your MP3 to your site and add the MP3 file URL in the piclens_settings.php. If you don't wanna to play background music, just leave it blank.

• Limited The Photo Display Number:
  $max_display_photos = "200";

  The variable above is to set the max number of photo displayed when Cooliris PicLens launched. Due to many Photostore web sites are hosting on a shared hosting account, and might have budget system resources. This setting will help you to limited your system resources usage. Each Photostore site has its own different circumstances, so you need to judge it by yourself.

• Photo Sorting Method:
  $sorting_gallery = "$sorting_type_4";
  $sorting_pop_photo = "$sorting_type_4";
  $sorting_ft_photo = "$sorting_type_1";
  $sorting_pg_photo = "$sorting_type_2";

  Description:

  • $sorting_gallery: Sorting method when people browse photos in a gallery
  • $sorting_pop_photo: Sorting method when people browse popular photos
  • $sorting_ft_photo: Sorting method when featured photos displayed
  • $sorting_pg_photo: Sorting method when people browse photographer photos

  Available Variables For Photo Sorting:

  • $sorting_type_1: random display
  • $sorting_type_2: display by newest photos
  • $sorting_type_3: display by oldest Photos
  • $sorting_type_4: display by most popular(highest hits first)
  • $sorting_type_5: display by lowest hits
  • $sorting_type_6: display by shopping cart counter(hot sale photos)
